Ranji Varghese MD

Ranji is a board-certified Psychiatrist and Sleep Medicine physician who completed his training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Minnesota and Medical Director of the Minnesota Regional Sleep Disorders Center, a center renowned for its contributions to the field of non-ordinary states of sleep. Additionally, he is co-investigator on the first psychedelic trial in Minnesota using psilocybin.

As the Medical Director of the Institute for Integrative Therapies (IIT), a Minnesota based clinic offering psychedelic assisted therapy and educational training, he truly believes that psychedelic medicines can serve as a change agent for well-being through their unique and reliable ability to occasion non-ordinary states of consciousness. Ranji feels that the potential of plant and psychedelic medicines to assist in connecting with our inner selves can strongly facilitate meaningful and selfless connections to others and to this beautiful planet we call our home.

Ranji resides in Minnesota with his wife and enjoys playing the guitar and listening to music.
