Remember to remember: Take away lessons from my interview with Tim Ferris
Earlier this month I had the pleasure of appearing on Tim Ferriss’ podcast. Our conversation was wonderful and wide-ranging; Tim is an excellent interviewer. We touched on a number of topics of course but I was reminded of something his assistant suggested I should ponder, ahead of our interview, namely, if I had the opportunity to rent a billboard someplace, what message would I post there?

They (our friends) were actually concerned that Terence and I were going off the rails. And, maybe we were. They were not convinced of the information we were downloading. And we were utterly convinced about it… Look, this (the Experiment) is happening. We understand each other perfectly what we’re trying to do and we understand what the Mushroom Teacher is trying to teach us to do.
The experiment at La Chorrera: a 50-year retrospective
The fall of 1970 was a difficult year for my brother and me. Our mother died on October 25th, at the young age of 57, after a long battle with cancer. My brother Terence had been hanging out in the jungles of Indonesia, for most of the previous year collecting butterflies, keeping a low profile and trying to avoid being noticed by Interpol.
